“I love Dartmouth Mock Trial for the opportunity it gives me to exercise this niche sort of mock knowledge alongside people who are awesome in and outside of the courtroom.”

Margaret Bone, known as “Bone”, is a Studio Art major and Human Centered Design minor, from Nashville, Tennessee. Bone loved doing mock trial in high school and had heard great things about Dartmouth Mock, so she tried out for the team. Her favorite part of being on the team is competition weekends because, “It’s always a great combination of hard work paying off and shenanigans.” Outside of mock trial, Bone is a member of Alpha Phi Sorority and is involved in the studio art department. She loves making art, especially painting or working in her sketchbook, as well as playing with her dog Andy. Her favorite mock trial memory is her sophomore year ORCS, where “Sebastian Fernandez (‘24) and Sam Selleck (‘22) came up with paper awards for everyone on the team. I laughed so hard with them that my stomach hurt the rest of the weekend.” One crazy fun fact about Bone is that she played a game of pong everyday last year. If she was a kitchen appliance, she would be a coffee maker because she was a barista for a while and loves coffee.
